Description

Medio is an introduced warm-season perennial bunchgrass selected for its outstanding forge quality and yields. It reproduces by self-seeding & spreading rapidly through prostrate stems. It is a late-maturing variety that provides excellent forage for all classes of livestock and provides good cover for deer.

The most limiting factor associated with this grass is that it lacks cold tolerance, which limits its area of adaptation. This grass thrives best on loamy- Clay fertile soils.
